Makaibari Estate was founded 160 years ago and houses one of the oldest tea factories of the world. Spanning over six Himalayan ridges, the world’s most iconic tea grows in the wild amidst ancient forests, which are home to a staggering variety of flora & fauna including leopards, hornbills & butterflies. Each of which play a unique role in the estate’s ecological diversity and the terroir from which emerges this sublime tea.
